The Megan Meier Foundation exists to support and inspire actions to end bullying, cyberbullying, and suicide. What began as one mother’s response to unimaginable loss has grown into a trusted community resource providing both prevention and direct mental health support.

What sets us apart is simple—we don’t just raise awareness, we walk alongside youth in crisis. Through our free Counseling & Support Center, we provide short-term, evidence-based counseling at no cost to families, removing barriers like cost, transportation, and stigma. Services are offered both in our office and within schools, meeting students where they are.

Our education and prevention programs have reached nearly 740,000 individuals nationwide, equipping students with tools to respond to bullying, build empathy, and seek help. We focus on empowering “upstanders” and creating cultures of kindness and accountability.

Our School Attendance Initiative addresses chronic absenteeism by tackling root causes like anxiety, bullying, and unstable environments—partnering with schools and the juvenile justice system to help youth get back on track.

As the need for youth mental health support grows, so does our commitment to expanding access and ensuring no child falls through the cracks.
